This is what you can expect from the Tent over the course of the week…
Daily Routine
Each day follow the same structure, consisting of a Lunchtime Talk, an Evening Event, and a Special Event called Cultural Hour.
Lunchtime Talk
13:05 - 13:55
A guest speaker gives a talk on an issue concerning Christianity whilst attendees also enjoy a FREE LUNCH. The Talk will be followed by a Q&A where anyone is free to give questions to the speaker.
Cultural Hour
17:00 - 18:00
This time is dedicated to showing how Jesus is Good News for all cultures. A food activity from a different culture is shared each day (except Friday, which has a Scottish Ceilidh) and is then followed by a talk exploring Christianity and Culture.
Evening Event
19:15 - 20:45
Each evening begins with live entertainment from a Durham music group. After this, the host will interview a different person each day to hear the story of the work of faith in their lives. This will be followed by a talk from Luke’s Gospel.
From 10am-4pm and 8:45pm-10pm, a café will be open serving hot drinks and baked goods
